Who we are

AAM Associates USA is the United States facing practice of Ajay Arun Mehta & Associates, Chartered Accountants, of Preet Vihar, Delhi, India, in practice since 1989.

What we are not

We are not a certified public accounting firm licensed in any State of the United States, and nothing here is an offer to practise as one. We do not hold a Preparer Tax Identification Number or an Electronic Filing Identification Number, we do not sign United States tax returns, we do not file them, and we do not represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

Tax return preparation described on this site is performed as support to a licensed CPA firm, which reviews the work, signs the return and remains the preparer of record. Bookkeeping is performed directly, and bookkeeping is not tax advice.

The content of this site

The pages here describe services in general terms. They are not advice, they are not an offer capable of acceptance, and no professional relationship arises from reading them or from sending an enquiry. Work begins only under a written engagement.

Engagements

Scope, fees, turnaround, confidentiality and the responsibilities of each side are settled in the engagement letter and the confidentiality agreement for the particular work. Where those documents and this page differ, those documents govern.
