Ajay Arun Mehta & Associates USA is the US-facing arm of a Delhi chartered accountancy practice in practice since 1989. We prepare US tax returns and, with a US-licensed CPA, bring them to filing.
Who we are
A practice with a long record in India
The firm was founded in 1989 by CA Arun Mehta and has advised on audit, taxation and cross-border matters since then. Its work includes international taxation and services for non-resident Indians, which is where much of the US return work arises: families with a foot in both countries, and income, accounts or property on each side.

The principles we hold ourselves to
We say plainly where the work is done
Our team is in Delhi, India. We do not borrow a US address or pretend otherwise. Our working day ends as yours begins, which means documents handed over in the evening US time can be reviewed before your morning.
A licensed CPA stands behind every return
Preparation is our work. Review, signature and filing belong to a US-licensed CPA. We will not describe a return as filed by us, and we will name the CPA here once they are confirmed.
Careful over fast
Cross-border returns go wrong on details: residency dates, foreign accounts, the credit for tax paid elsewhere. We ask questions early and write down our reasoning, so you and the CPA can follow it.
No promises we cannot keep
We do not guarantee refunds, outcomes or deadlines that depend on the IRS. We tell you what we know, what we have checked and what needs a specialist.
Our day ends as yours begins. Work handed over in the evening US time is back with you before your morning.
Where we are right now
Our CPA partner is being finalised
We are still engaging the US-licensed CPA under whose signature returns will be filed. Until that is confirmed we are registering interest only: no documents or payment are taken, and registering is free and commits you to nothing. When the CPA is confirmed, we will name them on this page and tell everyone who registered.
We are a chartered accountancy practice in India. We do not hold a PTIN or an EFIN, do not sign or file US returns, and are not a CPA firm licensed in any US state. Nothing on this site is an offer to practise before the IRS.
